Once more, each one of you has defended the fact you cannot legislate morality.All the laws about gun ownership on the books cannot be enforced.The problem is us.Are we going to to become like al qaida and spout the excuse that god is telling us to murder infidels? Are we going to strip Constitutional rights because a minority of people commit heinous crimes for their amusement?You don't" throw the baby out with the bath water".
Too often we become hysterical over random acts of violance.Are we going to hang all teenagers before they can steal a gun from their parents and kill somebody, then blow their own brains out?These things are unpredictable, and have nothing to do with a majority of us.It's heartbreaking,but that's sometimes our world.
There is a huge problem with loop holes in gun laws,gun dealers that skirt background checks, and the ability to buy guns at garage sales,gun shows,the black market,and through friends. Anyone can obtain a gun if they really want one,laws or no laws. Laws protect law abiding citizens,not criminals.
Guns are here to stay.Get over it.It's like arguing over which god is god,or banning abortions.Neither is going away. The biggest people killer right now is HIV/AIDS, and the flu! People need to wash their hands,stay home and out of groups when sick,and stop having sex when they have an STD.Those to me are more of a threat than gun ownership.Driving while drunk kills more people than guns.Prayer doesn't solve any problems.We are the only ones that can solve our problems by controlling our own behavior.Our "free" society will not stay free,I fear,if we do not learn to take control of our personal issues,families,and conduct.

The biggest mass killer are those of us that go out and expose others
to serious infections like the flu,Aids,etc.So many children have died
from the flu this year because of others spreading this disease.We all
know the reason gun laws have not worked, and there's plenty on the
books, is because gun dealers are not following the rules,guns are
privately sold-many at garage sales,and trafficking illegal guns is a

Homicides are not the leading cause of death in the United States,by the way.Neglect,mental health problems,physical health issues,suicide,drug and alcohol abuse,and vehicles are at the top of the list.The gun violence leading to mass murders has mostly been done by minors,not adults.Of course unless you live outside of the United States,it's gun violence and mass murders by religious fanatics like al qaida.
As I've said many times before it's us that's the problem.Health care costs for all of us has skyrocketed because we are not caring,clean,or responsible.

Battle of the Plebs-Letter to John Boehner
Congress has already run the debt up and knowingly refuses to pay its own bills. The problem is not our Pulitzer Prize winning President,but Republican refusal to compromise.A handful of freshmen congressmen have the American people enslaved with you, and Grover Norquist at the helm.This Congress of 50 millionaires and billionaires will go down in history as the cowardly elite.You are not even at work whenever I turn C-Span or other sources on. You are stealing from the people and not doing what they want you to do.You have wrecked the economy,engaged in ridiculous wars,and constantly seem sidetracked with stupid issues like abortion,and gun control that you have no business even talking about except in social groups.You as a group have taken more vacation days,filibustered more arguments than any other Congress in history.Why?Because you want to do anything to discredit our People's President.Shame on you.As my daddy used to say,"You dug your own grave."
You are an embarrassment to a majority of Americans,and are seen as impotent fools abroad.You hold your heads down when the media approaches because of the shame you feel as deceptive,inadequate,and foolish prigs.You know what you are doing is all about power,and greed so you have continued to make yourself aloof.
I believe in the American way of life that helps the unfortunate,rolls up their sleeves and does a hard days work,and looks after the well-being of their elders.Congress doesn't believe in any of that.They only believe in their own self-interests.
People are seriously speaking revolution in public.A good exercise might be for you to dress in jeans,put on a hat, and go mingle with the plebs and really hear what they think.Obama has an ear to the track which is why he's been so successful in spite of all of you. I am not surprised our war on drugs has been a miserable failure. I am not surprised our nation of laws cannot be well enforced when it comes to any morality issue.It is impossible to legislate morality.
From the Civil Rights Act of 1964,to religiosity quotes,and comments by columnists,journalists,legislators,and educators, this just cannot be done. It's a waste of time, and costly.I've given you three out of hundreds of references supporting this fact.

What happens in a free society is that the majority of law abiding,or moral citizens end up being punished for things they wouldn't do anyway.It's rule by the minority,instead of the majority.Time and time again throughout our written history we've tried to tie the hands of the majority and force morality issues down everyone's throats.
Slavery,bootlegging,drugs-legal and illegal,God,guns,abortion and lifestyles,have all been attacked and argued over for centuries now.These issues are people's beliefs and what I call "side-show" issues.Commerce as a business is the only entity that can ever be controlled.And we've seen how dfficult that is to do.The reason is us.We are the weak link to progress.However you define positive progress it will only happen if we evolve.Critical thinking has been replaced by greed,power,and minority rule.Generally,as the last election points out so efficaciously,Republicans were flabbergasted they lost. Manipulation by the wealthy minority failed.That was the jewel I wished for...the majority would prevail.So we are still alive and strong,much to the chagrin of our minority friends.
The majority of us don't molest children,don't want to hear about it,and perverts are another minority.I don't want to hear about murders day in and day out.These are minority criminals that will die before their time.They chose that path.This notion of 100% perfection in any sociey is a waste of time.
Talk about these issues in church,social groups, or during meditation.This crap is not newsworthy.People have begged time and again to stop giving a podium to fools.It doesn't change anything.It won't keep the next meth lab from opening, the next crazy minister in line,or the next pedophile from taking another victim.Only we can evolve and change our society.

Why We Are Killing Each Other
There is no God. It's just us new
There is no God. It's just us out here killing each other over money,greed,and power. It doesn't matter if a kill is by guns,knives,a car,your hands etc.God has nothing to do with it.Religion is a huge problem all over the world.It is the cause of genocide,homicide,and all wars.People are not being held accountable for their actions.Jesus,Elohim,God,'ilah (Arabic),Om, and the list goes on for 4,200 religions, all forgive you no matter what you do.There are three main reasons people choose to believe-fear of death,structure in order to live socially in a community and survive,and ego.None of us wants to believe we're going to come to an end.It's a scary thought and it's much easier to live if there is no end.It's easier to accept death if you believe there is an afterlife.We seem to have different visions of exactly what that might look like.
Taking someone's life away is a powerful weapon.I've heard it explained as a feeling of euphoria,a compulsion, enabling and possessing super human strength and serving god in the highest form of adoration.Death has never been declared a taboo in any society I know of,otherwise war wouldn't be at a global epidemic, and the death penalty wouldn't exist on any continent.
The oldest religion on earth is the Aboriginal spirit beliefs going back and being recorded over 30,000 years ago.It makes the three largest religions of the world mere babes in the woods.It makes the beliefs of the Egyptians modern.
We forget we are animals.Animals do kill.It's in our nature.We used to kill only to feed ourselves,now many kill for sport.
