Wars?You really think there is a magic sky god that is always paying attention to you?Sounds like a "Me,me,me,me" narcisistic psychosis.You think when you die there is a place called Heaven you go to meet relatives?Do you ever watch what happens to space trash that comes into the earth's atmosphere?It hopefully burns up so it is not a problem.Do you know what happens to stuff that leaves our atmoshere,like the soul in search of heaven, or a rocket ship covering?Have you seen the vastness of our universe so far?Are you aware of science?
Yesterday, an,oh so Christian woman, decided to leave a manger scene in her front yard.This was against her HOA rules and regulations.Do you know what happens when you violate those rules?I cracked up with laughter when she made a remark that her HOA could "shove-it", and she wanted her 9 years of dues back.I hope no attorney helps her.But I digress...this pious woman doesn't read.Her HOA can actually be nasty enough to cause her to loose her home.The HOA described this scene as Christmas Decorations.It's tolerated at Christmas, for an appropriate time.Not all of us believe like you.
Would you like to be forced because you live in say Arabia to observe Ramadan even though you are Christian?How about Yom Kippor because you live in Israel?Just because we live in the United States, that does not mean we are all Christians, and the mere statement you believe in god means you are special?There are many gods,4,200 of them.Some belief systems are deadlier than others.I cannot think of one religion or belief system in god that isn't mean,has caused war, or is entrenched in tales,legends, and tries to explain what that particular group just doesn't understand yet.
There are many other philosophies,social groups, and cultures that make the individual the responsible party,and scientific explanation the reason.Theists make Jesus the repsonsible party(he forgives sins for everything..."auto-do-over"),and creationism the reason.Atheists have always been "eaten" by theists in the past. Atheists are non-theists.That's not scary,except in the narrow mind of the theist.Theists see atheists, or non-theists as a terrible threat to them.It's natural to be frightened of anything you know little about.The intelligent thing is to learn why you might be so afraid, and correct it.
